"Boys Next Door" Is A Play To Be Seen and Re-Seen

"Freshman Jonathon Timpanelli and Mister Fitzgerald found and presented a wonderful depth in their roles of Norman Bulansky and Lucien P. Smith. For such young actors, they were able to convey the vunerabilities and the handicaps of these two men with a sense of understanding that seemed far beyond their years. I highly recommend this opportunity to see a wonderful piece in "The Boys Next Door" done very respectably by a young college cast."

BBW Reviews: RENT at Florida Southern College

"Mister Fitzgerald as Collins is such a strong onstage presence, and he and his Angel (the formidably talented--and wiry--Keith Young) are a lovely duo, as showcased in the first version of "I Will Cover You." But it's the reprise of that song in the middle of Act 2 that must be heard. In fact, buy tickets to the show to experience the best version of "I Will Cover You (Reprise)" that I have ever heard. Spellbinding, awe-inspiring, chill-inducing, it's an out-of-the-park homerun.

Whether you're a fan of RENT or not, there is so much to offer in this production, especially a stunning rendition of "I Will Cover You (Reprise)" that I still haven't been able to shake more than 24 hours later. And that's the best compliment I can give to any performer or show."

An Awesome Evening of One Acts

"The aforementioned opening scene was called The Midlife Crisis of Dionysus and featured Mister Fitzgerald as the titular middle aged Dionysus. In my opinion it was a wonderful way to start the show because it set the pace for the weirdness that was to continue the rest of the night. I particularly liked this interpretation of Dionysus as they kept true to the original mythology behind him then built upon that. Additionally Mister did an excellent job portraying his character as a charismatic god with no cares when the scene called for it, while also conveying the defeated attitude of a god on decline.
